Director of Brand Communications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Brand Communications to shape and lead the global brand strategy of a leading international financial organisation. Based in Dublin City Centre, you will oversee brand positioning, narrative development and governance across more than 20 markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global brand positioning and enterprise narrative.
• Develop messaging frameworks for all markets and channels.
• Oversee brand architecture, governance and visual identity.
• Support brand integration during M&A activity.
• Manage sponsorships and strategic events as commercial investments.
• Partner with Communications teams on earned media and reputation management.
• Lead employer brand and recruitment marketing initiatives.
• Use market insights and perception data to inform strategy.
• Ensure a consistent brand experience across international markets.

Required profile

• 12+ years in senior brand leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale brand repositioning.
• Strong expertise in brand architecture and governance.
• Excellent editorial and strategic communication skills.
• Experience operating in international, matrixed environments.
• Commercially focused with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
