Director of Operations – Multi-site Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Head of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across several high‑performing manufacturing sites in Ireland, serving major retail and foodservice customers in the UK and Ireland. This senior position drives operational excellence, cost efficiency, quality, safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop site leadership teams to achieve best‑in‑class performance.
• Implement and monitor cost, quality, safety and service metrics across all sites.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data‑driven methods.
• Ensure compliance with retailer standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead organisational change and scale operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Minimum five years senior‑level operational leadership in FMCG manufacturing, preferably multi‑site or regional.
• Extensive knowledge of protein‑based manufacturing for chilled and ambient products.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing complex change programmes.
• Values‑driven leadership focused on engagement, accountability and sustainable results.
