Director – Office of the COO

About the role

Davy is seeking a Director for the Office of the COO to act as the enterprise control tower for the COO function. You will translate strategy into clear priorities, coordinate execution, and deliver measurable outcomes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Office of the COO, integrating program governance, planning, and executive reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the COO, shaping priorities, surfacing risks, and driving strategic trade‑offs.
• Own the COO operating rhythm, aligning strategy, execution, governance, and outcomes with C‑Suite and Board stakeholders.
• Drive enterprise prioritisation, aligning capital and capacity to high‑value initiatives.
• Establish and lead governance forums and decision‑making structures.
• Oversee portfolio performance, including delivery, financials, benefits realisation, and risk.
• Develop and implement Board and ExCo reporting with insight‑led updates.
• Ensure execution discipline, timely escalation, and resolution of issues.
• Enable cross‑functional alignment and remove delivery barriers.
• Lead COO communications and cascade priorities across the organisation.
• Oversee risk, audit deliverables, and COO‑sponsored initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in strategy execution, governance and large‑scale programme management.
• Strong advisory capability to senior leadership and Board members.
• Excellent ability to align capital, capacity and priorities across complex initiatives.
