District Manager – Multi‑Brand Retail Portfolio

About the role

This is a senior leadership position based in Ireland, responsible for overseeing a multi‑brand retail portfolio across a defined district. You will act as the bridge between store teams and corporate headquarters, translating strategy into day‑to‑day execution while driving commercial performance and an elevated customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Store Managers to meet sales, profitability and KPI targets through performance analysis and action‑plan execution.
• Translate commercial data into actionable insights that link store behaviour to operational outcomes.
• Conduct regular store visits for coaching, performance evaluation and brand‑standard compliance.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for under‑performing stores.
• Ensure consistent brand execution, visual merchandising and product storytelling across all locations.
• Oversee new store openings and support recruitment of store leadership and key retail talent.
• Coordinate the rollout of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives district‑wide.
• Monitor customer experience metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the primary communication link between stores and headquarters.
• Collaborate with HR, Health & Safety and Asset Protection to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple retail stores or districts.
• Track record of delivering commercial results and improving store performance.
• Strong leadership with a focus on coaching, team development and performance management.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and solid business acumen.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous retail environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High accountability, resilience and organisational capability.
• Willingness to travel frequently (≈80% travel, including overnight stays).
