Electrical Engineer – Intermediate/Senior

About the role

Join a well‑established building services consultancy in Antrim, delivering electrical design solutions across healthcare, education, residential, commercial and retail sectors. As an Electrical Engineer you will work within a multidisciplinary team, handling projects from concept through to completion while gaining exposure to a wide variety of building services designs.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical design packages for diverse projects.
• Perform electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Carry out site surveys and inspections.
• Prepare tender documentation and review contractor submissions.
• Attend client, design team and site meetings.
• Liaise with utility providers and external stakeholders.
• Support project delivery within programme and budget constraints.
• Mentor and assist junior engineers as required.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical colleagues to deliver coordinated designs.

Required profile

• Experience in a building services consultancy or contractor design environment.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard design software.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM (desirable).
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Proactive workload management.
• Aspiration to achieve Chartered status.
