Electrical Engineer – Path to BMS Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Dublin‑based BMS consultancy as an Electrical Engineer, with a clear pathway to become a BMS Commissioning Engineer. The role involves hands‑on electrical installation, commissioning and testing of HVAC and building management systems on projects across Ireland and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations on HVAC and BMS equipment under senior guidance.
• Assist with commissioning, testing and verification of control strategies.
• Support the preparation of Site Acceptance Test (SAT) reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and project teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Gain exposure to multiple BMS platforms and progressively take on independent commissioning tasks.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrician with a strong interest in HVAC and building management systems.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland and regularly to European project sites.
• Based in Dublin or able to work from the Dublin office.

Required skills

• Electrical installations and control panel work.
• HVAC system knowledge.
• Experience or willingness to learn BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Distech or Siemens.
• Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures.
