EMEA Regional IT Support Lead – Dublin

About the role
OpenAI is looking for a senior IT professional to lead on‑site support in Dublin while overseeing the EMEA regional support function. You will combine hands‑on technical assistance with operational leadership, ensuring a seamless technology experience for employees across multiple offices.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end EMEA IT support experience, handling escalations and driving systematic improvements.
- Coordinate regional support across time zones to deliver consistent service levels.
- Lead onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including device preparation and account provisioning.
- Manage AV and event readiness for conference rooms, executive meetings and large gatherings.
- Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, repairs, maintenance and inventory tracking.
- Partner with Workplace Services and Security on office builds and technology deployments.
- Identify friction points, improve documentation and introduce lightweight automation.
- Provide high‑touch, white‑glove support to executives and other high‑visibility users.
Required profile
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong judgment and clear communication.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving environment.
- Experience leading regional IT support or similar operational functions.
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week in Dublin.
