Enhanced Nurse – Permanent Full‑Time (Limerick)

About the role

Corlann is seeking an Enhanced Nurse to join its permanent, full‑time team in Limerick. The role involves delivering person‑centred nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism and complex needs, supporting them to live as independently as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
• Provide direct support to two individuals in their own apartments, promoting independence, choice and life‑skills.
• Deliver structured, person‑centred care aligned with assessed needs and care plans.
• Implement positive behaviour strategies and maintain a calm, predictable environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive specialist care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RNID) status with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Experience working with autism, intellectual disability and complex needs is preferred.
• Knowledge of person‑centred planning and individualised support approaches.
• Excellent communication skills.
