About the role
Bluebird Care is expanding its team in Limerick and is looking for dedicated Health Care Assistants to provide high‑quality care to clients in their own homes. This full‑time permanent position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community while working in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily activities such as hygiene and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' wellbeing.
- Promote a safe, respectful environment that meets care standards.
- Travel to client homes across the Limerick area (100% travel required).
Required profile
- QQI Level 5 in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a care setting.
- Commitment to complete additional QQI modules if required.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- High school or equivalent (preferred).
- Fluent English.

- Pay rate of €15.00‑€20.00 per hour.
