Entry-Level End User Computing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level End User Computing Engineer to join our team in Kilkenny. You will help design, implement and maintain the end‑user computing environment, ensuring performance, security and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and support laptops, desktops, operating systems and workplace applications using Microsoft Intune.
• Provide deskside and remote technical support, troubleshooting incidents and service requests.
• Manage the full lifecycle of EUC incidents and requests, communicating promptly with users.
• Perform hardware upgrades, deployments and moves (IMAC) and maintain asset records.
• Implement and support endpoint management tools (Defender, Intune, Entra ID) and ensure security compliance.
• Collaborate with workplace technology teams on digital signage, meeting‑room AV and smart‑office solutions.
• Document procedures, configurations and solutions for knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation and innovation.

Required profile

• Basic understanding or coursework in end‑user computing, desktop support or workplace engineering.
• Familiarity with Windows and iOS operating systems, Microsoft 365 and endpoint management tools through academic projects or internships.
• Willingness to learn hardware troubleshooting, software deployment and IT asset management.
• Awareness of security best practices for endpoints and user environments.
