ESL Teacher for Young Learners in China

About the role

English 1 is seeking enthusiastic English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers to join its network of schools across China. You will work with children aged 3‑16, delivering dynamic, interactive lessons that foster language acquisition and cultural curiosity.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to young learners using English 1’s award‑winning curriculum and digital teaching tools.
• Design and deliver engaging, high‑energy lessons that cater to diverse proficiency levels.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual growth.
• Participate in school events, cultural programs, and community activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid passport and clean background check.
• Genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange.
• ESL certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is a plus; sponsorship available.
