Field Service Operations Manager – Lead Customer Engineers

About the role

As a Field Service Operations Manager you will lead a team of Customer Engineers who support critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment for a strategic customer in Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality service delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Customer Engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and act as the primary point of contact for service delivery activities.
• Drive operational performance across safety, quality, customer satisfaction and business objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders such as Technical Support, Training, Finance, HR, Spares and Sales to ensure effective service delivery.
• Manage workforce planning, hiring, training and resource allocation to support current operations and future growth.

Required profile

• Experience leading technical teams in semiconductor, engineering, manufacturing or field‑service environments.
• Proven people‑management skills, including coaching, performance management and talent development.
• Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑moving setting.
• Commercial awareness of budgeting, cost management and operational performance.
