Financial Analyst

About the role

This newly created Finance Analyst position sits within a fast‑growing business and works closely with senior leadership. You will turn financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust financial models to inform strategic business decisions.
• Perform scenario analysis, investment appraisals and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports with commercial insights.
• Analyse financial performance, including margin and variance analysis.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility of key metrics.
• Partner with stakeholders on commercial initiatives and process improvements.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects as the organisation expands.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A or similar analytical finance role.
• Strong financial modelling background.
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• WIP analysis experience is advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with clear communication to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, commercially focused and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
