Financial Analyst – Strategic Finance Role

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join a growing business in Kildare on a full‑time permanent basis. The newly created position works closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making and turn financial data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic business decisions.
• Perform scenario analysis, investment appraisals, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the business.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports with commercial insights.
• Analyse financial performance, including margin and variance analysis, to aid decision‑making.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility of key business metrics.
• Partner with stakeholders to support commercial initiatives and process improvements.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects as the organisation grows.

Required profile

• Qualified by experience or hold a relevant finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A or similar analytical finance role.
• Strong financial modelling experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• WIP analysis experience is highly advantageous.
• Proactive, commercially focused and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, growing business.
