Financial Controller – Waterford

About the role
Matrix Recruitment is looking for a commercially‑minded Financial Controller to join a growing business in Waterford. You will own the finance function, providing insight and analysis that supports strategic decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the finance function.
- Prepare monthly financial and management accounts.
- Deliver financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
- Present financial results and strategic insights to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems.
Required profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) – preferred.
- Experience in management accounts and financial reporting.
- Experience managing or supervising a finance team (beneficial).
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
Required skills
- Highly proficient in Excel with strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
