Finishing Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑driven Finishing Site Manager to take full ownership of projects from structural completion through to client handover. You will lead internal fit‑out subcontractors across finishes, joinery, facades and high‑spec M&E installations for large‑scale commercial, institutional and residential developments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and accelerate internal trade packages including partitioning, high‑end joinery, specialised flooring, acoustic ceilings, glazing and second/third‑fix M&E.
• Manage final completion and testing of building envelopes, structural glazing, curtain walling and architectural cladding.
• Implement a rolling snag‑as‑you‑go policy using digital tracking software (e.g., Procore, Fieldwire) to minimise defect lists.
• Lead specialised interior fit‑out and finishing sub‑contractors to meet strict programme milestones.
• Prepare on‑site quality assurance documentation to satisfy Building Control Regulations (BCAR) and ensure seamless handovers.
• Maintain immaculate housekeeping and strict safety standards on live internal fit‑out floors.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years experience as a Finishing Foreman or Finishing Site Manager on large‑scale commercial, institutional or multi‑unit residential projects.
• Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or a strong technical trade background with tier‑1 site management progression.
• Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling certification and recognised safety qualifications (e.g., CSCS, Managing Safely in Construction, SMSTS).
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital quality control/snaging software such as Procore and Fieldwire.
• Interpretation of architectural details and tracking of M&E interfaces.
• Safety certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, Managing Safely in Construction, Safe Pass, Manual Handling.
