Floor Manager - Restaurant & Bar

About the role

The Hoxton Dublin, the group's first Irish hotel, is hiring a Floor Manager for its restaurant and bar. The role creates a relaxed atmosphere where guests can unwind, keeps the restaurant and bar safe and compliant, and runs the day-to-day service on the floor.

Key responsibilities

• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for guests
• Keep the restaurant and bar H&S compliant for each shift
• Run the daily briefing for the restaurant and bar team
• Coordinate and run the reservations system and draft the floor plan based on covers
• Support F&B stock, including ordering and stock counts
• Support training for the F&B team and handle labour scheduling
• Handle cash and report daily revenue according to hotel SOPs
• Be responsible for service on the floor and bar, and for the safe opening and closing of the restaurant
• Work with the culinary team on menus, service and product availability

Required profile

• Previous experience as floor manager or supervisor in a busy, high-volume restaurant
• Natural leader who leads by example and manages others
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of what guests want
• Positive attitude, teamwork and willingness to try new things
