Founding Engineer

About the role

Shinka, a leading AdTech platform, is looking for a Founding Engineer to shape the next phase of its product. Based in Dublin, you will work directly with the founder to turn high‑level ideas into production‑ready software for real customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product features: design, build, ship, monitor and iterate.
• Design and evolve the configuration layer, including AI‑assisted self‑serve setup and reporting tools for publishers.
• Extend integration capabilities with demand and supply partners as the customer base grows.
• Engage directly with customers and publishers to gather feedback, support technical integrations, and inform product decisions.
• Help establish technical standards, culture, and architecture for the growing engineering team.
• Champion agentic development practices using Claude Code and AI‑assisted workflows.

Required profile

• Proven track record of shipping production software quickly.
• Product‑mindset: understand why features are built and their impact on users.
• Comfortable working with ambiguous specifications.
• Experience with low‑latency, high‑throughput systems where tail latency matters.
• Passionate about AI‑native development and eager to push the limits of tools like Claude Code.
