About the role
This freelance position involves designing original computational physics problems for AI testing and evaluation projects. You will create Python‑based challenges that reflect real research workflows and require advanced numerical methods.
Key responsibilities
- Design computational physics problems across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
- Develop Python tasks using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy that are computationally intensive.
- Ensure problems cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
- Validate solutions with Python and standard physics simulation libraries.
- Document problem statements clearly and provide verified answers.
Required profile
- Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental or computational) or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in research, applied physics, or teaching.
- Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
- Experience with numerical simulation methods and problem‑design for research workflows.
