Freight Forwarder – Healthcare Logistics

About the role

Join DSV as a Freight Forwarder focused on healthcare logistics. You will be responsible for moving life‑critical products such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices, ensuring they reach patients safely, compliantly, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily shipments (groupage, LTL, FTL) with a strong emphasis on healthcare requirements.
• Maintain product integrity, including cold‑chain handling for temperatures ranging from frozen to ambient.
• Apply Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards and use validated packaging and temperature‑monitoring solutions.
• Monitor shipments via tracking systems, proactively addressing risks or delays.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and timely file closure.
• Keep precise digital records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Liaise with carriers, subcontractors, and internal teams to guarantee reliable service delivery.
• Manage deviations, identify risks, and implement corrective actions while supporting cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain (essential).
• Exposure to healthcare or pharmaceutical logistics is advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail, especially in compliance documentation.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience using shipment tracking tools.
