French-Speaking Travel Operations Specialist

About the role

An established international travel company specialising in inbound group tours and tailor-made travel experiences across Ireland and the UK is looking for a French-speaking Travel Operations Specialist based in Dublin. The role manages the smooth delivery of group tours visiting Ireland, coordinating bookings, suppliers, itineraries and client requirements. The salary is up to 35,000 EUR depending on experience, with hybrid working options available.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the smooth operation of confirmed group tours
• Organise and confirm accommodation, transport, activities and other travel services
• Work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to deliver agreed itineraries
• Check bookings, schedules and documentation so that all details are accurate and up to date
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best available services and rates
• Handle amendments, payments and operational issues efficiently and within deadlines

Required profile

• Fluency in French to a high standard is mandatory
• Experience in a tour operator or similar service-based organisation (event management, booking agency, travel company, coach company or Irish visitor attraction)
• Good knowledge of Ireland as a destination and its tourism products
• Positive, problem-solving, confident and dynamic personality
• Good team player with excellent communication skills
