Full Stack Engineer

About the role

EXL is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that leverage Python back‑ends and React front‑ends. The role focuses on building Agentic AI solutions and integrating them into enterprise‑grade products while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Python (FastAPI, Django or Flask) and React.js.
• Build and deploy Agentic AI solutions, including multi‑agent orchestrations and decision‑making systems.
• Evaluate emerging Agentic AI design patterns and recommend adoption.
• Implement features for AI evaluation, observability, and performance tracking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code, adhering to best practices and DevOps/Agile processes.
• Explore AI tools to improve innovation, efficiency, and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in application development and support.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with RESTful API design and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and data structures.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, multi‑geography team.
