Full-time Catering Assistant – Fermoy

About the role

Supermac's in Fermoy is looking for a motivated full‑time Catering Assistant to deliver friendly, high‑quality service across its restaurant and associated food outlets. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring customers enjoy a clean and welcoming experience every visit.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, efficient service to customers at Supermac’s, Papa John’s, SuperSubs, Mac’s Deli, Bewley’s Barista & Spar.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobby, customer toilets and all work areas throughout the shift.
• Prepare, cook, serve and store food in line with company standards and safety guidelines.
• Handle cash and follow correct cash‑handling procedures as directed by management.
• Assist with stock rotation, replenishment and basic inventory tasks.
• Respond to customer complaints or incidents and forward them to the supervisor or manager.
• Support the management team in driving sales and increasing customer spend.

Required profile

• Excellent customer‑service attitude with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Flexibility to work across all areas of the restaurant, including weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast‑moving environment.
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene, safety and quality.
