General Operative

About the role

Join Sofina Foods' production team at the Tullamore site as a General Operative. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality meat products by supporting preparation, packaging and hygiene standards. This full‑time, onsite position offers a stable environment with opportunities for overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and packaging of meat products in line with quality and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards within the work area.
• Support consistent product quality through careful attention to detail.
• Adapt to flexible shift patterns, including day, evening and overtime as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food‑production environment is highly desirable.
• Strong work ethic with good organisational abilities.
• Team‑player with positive interpersonal skills.
• Quality‑focused with an eye for detail.
• Willingness to work both day and evening shifts.

Required skills

• Ability to follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Capability to operate basic packaging equipment.
• Physical stamina for standing and manual handling tasks.
