Head of Data, Reporting & Insights

About the role

This senior leadership position will own the enterprise reporting strategy for a large multi‑site UK & Ireland services organisation. You will build a centralised reporting and insights capability from the ground up, shaping the governance model as the company rolls out its Microsoft Fabric cloud data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce enterprise‑wide reporting standards, KPIs, data definitions and governance (excluding finance).
• Transform fragmented, reactive reporting into a standardised, trusted, insight‑driven function with a roadmap toward predictive and AI‑enabled analytics.
• Prioritise and manage reporting demand across the business as the single point of accountability.
• Recruit, build and lead a new reporting/analytics team.
• Present analytical insights directly to senior leadership and executive forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience at Head of, Director or senior leadership level in reporting, BI, analytics or performance management.
• Track record of designing and executing enterprise‑wide reporting strategies in large, complex organisations.
• Strong credibility and influence with C‑suite and board members.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and introduce innovative approaches.
