Healthcare Assistant – South Dublin

About the role

Join Connected Health as a Healthcare Assistant in South Dublin, providing essential support to individuals who need help with daily tasks and personal care. No prior experience is required as we offer accredited QQI training and continuous development to help you succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and household tasks.
• Travel to client homes using your own vehicle and maintain accurate care records.
• Promote independence and wellbeing while following individualized care plans.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years paid home‑care experience or QQI Level 5 in Care Skills/Older Person Care (training available).
• Full, valid driving licence with access to a car.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work alternative weekends.
