About the role
Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is seeking an experienced and approachable Human Resources Manager to join its Cork office. This senior leadership position will shape the people strategy, support senior leadership, and nurture a high‑performance, inclusive culture across a multi‑site engineering consultancy.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partner, developing and delivering FT’s people strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Provide trusted HR advice to senior leadership and act as an accessible point of contact for employees at all levels.
- Lead employee‑relations matters, ensuring professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
- Design and deliver engagement initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive working environment.
- Oversee the full talent lifecycle: workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, development and succession planning.
- Drive performance‑management processes and coach managers on best practices.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures and documentation in compliance with legislation.
- Manage the annual remuneration review, salary benchmarking and benefits.
- Produce monthly and ad‑hoc HR metrics, reports and maintain accurate HR systems.
Required profile
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIPD).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, including supporting senior leadership.
- Experience operating across a broad HR remit in a multi‑site organisation.
