In-House Healthcare Trainer & Compliance Officer

About the role

FRS Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic In-House Healthcare Trainer & Compliance Officer to split their time between delivering essential healthcare training and supporting the compliance team for temporary staff. The role ensures that all healthcare professionals meet HSE and client standards across Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare training such as PMAV, Patient Moving & Handling, and Basic Life Support/CPR.
• Schedule and coordinate regional training sessions throughout Ireland, both classroom and practical.
• Assess competency, maintain training records, monitor certificate expiries and organise refresher courses.
• Support the Healthcare Compliance Team with onboarding, verifying qualifications, registrations, and employment history.
• Coordinate Garda Vetting, reference checks and monitor compliance expiry dates.
• Maintain accurate records in the recruitment database and ensure adherence to HSE Framework, HIQA standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Train‑the‑Trainer qualification.
• Qualified instructor in at least one of PMAV, Patient Moving & Handling, or BLS/CPR.
• Previous experience delivering healthcare training and working in healthcare, disability services or social care.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Full clean Irish driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
