Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

Our client in Dublin City Centre is looking for a permanent, fully onsite IT Support Engineer (Level 2) to join a growing team. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining a Microsoft‑based IT environment in a fast‑paced professional setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and remote users.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
• Administer Azure / Entra ID, Intune, MFA and user access management.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, networking, VPN, printers and hardware issues.
• Assist with server support, Active Directory, patching and backups.
• Support cybersecurity, endpoint protection and compliance standards.
• Participate in IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager and Entra ID.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in a legal or professional services environment is desirable.
• IT qualification or equivalent experience; Microsoft certifications advantageous.
