Infrastructure Analyst

About the role

The Infrastructure Analyst will join a large ICT team to deliver, support, secure and evolve enterprise‑wide on‑premise and cloud infrastructure services. You will work on Microsoft cloud platforms, virtualization, networking and security while contributing to strategic projects and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Manage identity, access, Exchange Online, Teams and Active Directory services.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and backup solutions like Commvault.
• Monitor and optimise network services including DHCP, DNS and firewall configurations.
• Handle cost and billing management for cloud services.
• Collaborate with vendors, Managed Service Providers and internal stakeholders on procurement and service delivery.
• Participate in ICT project planning, delivery and coordination.

Required profile

• Level 8 (or equivalent) qualification in Computer Science, IT or related discipline; Level 6/7 acceptable with commitment to achieve Level 8 within three years.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Systems Administrator in an enterprise ICT environment, focusing on Microsoft cloud services.
• 3‑5 years hands‑on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware and related technologies.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365) and optional certifications such as AWS, CCNA/CCNP, ITIL, PRINCE2.
