Instructional Designer – 12-Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a creative Instructional Designer to join a global retail operation’s training team on a 12‑month contract. You will transform complex information into engaging, easy‑to‑understand learning experiences for classroom, online, and blended programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with subject‑matter experts to design impactful learning solutions.
• Create training content, job aids, and multimedia assets for diverse delivery formats.
• Ensure learners have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
• Develop and maintain e‑learning modules and manage content within the LMS.

Required profile

• Proven experience in instructional design, technical writing, or learning content development.
• Strong writing, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Required skills

• Experience with e‑learning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• HTML knowledge.
• Photoshop proficiency.
• Familiarity with Adobe Captivate (plus).
