Intern – Monoclonal Network LM TSMS

About the role

This internship supports the TS/MS Monoclonal Network Support Team by contributing to technical and strategic initiatives across the monoclonal antibody network. You will work with Upstream, Downstream and Analytical scientists to generate data that supports manufacturing operations and business projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support laboratory experimentation and data generation under guidance of experienced scientists.
• Contribute to technical projects in Upstream, Downstream or Analytical functions with defined deliverables.
• Assist with day‑to‑day laboratory operations, including preparation, execution and documentation of experiments.
• Analyse experimental data and prepare technical summaries, reports and presentations.
• Support activities within the IE43 Monoclonal Network Pilot Plant and other laboratory studies.
• Participate in cross‑functional project teams and communicate progress in meetings.
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Eligibility: BSc in Biopharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Galway.
• Enthusiasm for biotechnology, bioprocessing, biochemistry or chemical engineering.

Required skills

• Laboratory experimentation techniques.
• Data analysis and technical reporting.
• Understanding of safety, quality and compliance procedures.
