IT Helpdesk Technician – Dublin

About the role

BDO Ireland is looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician to join its growing IT team in Dublin. You will provide professional, friendly technical support to end‑users both onsite and remotely, ensuring incidents are logged, analysed and resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IT support to users on‑site and via remote‑control tools.
• Log, prioritise and resolve (or appropriately escalate) incidents using the IT Helpdesk ticketing system.
• Perform hardware maintenance, including re‑imaging of computers.
• Install and support software applications and operating systems (Windows 10/11).
• Execute Active Directory tasks and manage Office 365 accounts.
• Support a range of devices – laptops, iPhone/iPad, corporate mobile phones and multi‑function printers.
• Provide audio‑visual support for meetings and events.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with users at all levels.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to continuously learn and improve.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are a plus.
