IT Service Desk Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established organisation, is looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Engineer to join their internal IT team on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will provide high‑quality technical support to end users across multiple locations and help maintain core IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for users, managing incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Azure AD and on‑prem AD.
• Configure, deploy and maintain end‑user hardware, software and peripherals.
• Manage endpoint devices via Microsoft Intune, including enrolment, configuration and compliance.
• Support Windows desktop environments, printers, email services and business applications.
• Assist with SharePoint Online, OneDrive and collaboration platform administration.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Handle mobile device provisioning for iOS and Android platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in an IT Service Desk, Desktop Support or IT Support Engineer role.
• Strong background supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD (hybrid environments desirable).
• Experience administering Microsoft Intune and managing endpoint devices.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Office applications.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
