IT Support Engineer L1/L2 (MSP) – South County Dublin

About the role

We are a small, well‑established Managed Service Provider based in South County Dublin looking for a Level 1/Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join our service‑desk team. The role is fully office‑based (5 days a week) and involves supporting multiple client environments, handling tickets, and providing rapid troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve support tickets across a portfolio of clients.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktop, user, application and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory and user account problems.
• Assist users with MFA, authenticator apps and access‑related challenges.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
• Work with security tools such as EDR, MDR and promote cyber‑security hygiene.
• Communicate clearly with clients via phone, email and ticket updates.
• Escalate issues appropriately and conduct occasional on‑site client visits.

Required profile

• Approximately 4+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
• Strong Level 1 support skills with some Level 2 troubleshooting capability.
• Residency in South County Dublin and legal right to work in Ireland.
• Positive, client‑focused attitude and willingness to keep learning.
