About the role
PFH Technology is seeking an experienced Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join its Dublin team on a 12‑month contract. You will deliver hands‑on end‑user support, perform system administration, install hardware and software, and resolve technical issues directly onsite for a key client.
Key responsibilities
- Provide on‑site troubleshooting for Windows, macOS and Linux workstations and servers.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and domain‑related tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve network problems including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routers, switches and VPNs.
- Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper‑V or VirtualBox.
- Assist with cloud services on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, including VM and storage management.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python scripts.
- Handle incident management following ITIL V4 processes and document resolutions in ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
Required profile
- ITIL V4 certification.
- Microsoft MD‑102 certification.
- Proven experience in Level 2 technical support.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with non‑technical users.
