About the role
Our client in Dublin City Centre is looking for a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join a growing team. This permanent, fully onsite position focuses on supporting and maintaining a Microsoft‑based environment for a professional services firm.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and remote users.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
- Manage Azure, Entra ID, Intune, MFA and user access permissions.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, networking, VPN, printers and hardware issues.
- Assist with server tasks, Active Directory, patching and backup operations.
- Support cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection and compliance standards.
- Participate in IT projects, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Strong background in Windows desktop support and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Intune/Endpoint Manager and Entra ID.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Experience in a legal or professional services setting is a plus.
