IT Support Engineer – Microsoft 365 Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in North Dublin. The role focuses on administering the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and delivering end‑to‑end device lifecycle management while supporting both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint and Azure.
• Provision devices and manage their lifecycle using Windows Autopilot and application deployment tools.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and optimise IT systems across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Implement cybersecurity measures such as endpoint security, Conditional Access policies and network security controls.
• Support core network services (VLANs, DNS, DHCP) and assist with Linux and database environments when required.
• Develop reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI.
• Provide first‑line technical support to end users and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or a related field.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland and ability to pass background screening.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Self‑driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Azure).
• Windows Autopilot and device provisioning.
• Power BI dashboard development.
• Network fundamentals – VLAN, DNS, DHCP.
• Endpoint security and Conditional Access policies.
• Linux system administration (desired).
• Knowledge of enterprise networking and firewall technologies (desired).
