Junior Health & Safety Advisor – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join our engineering team in the Greater Dublin area. You will support the creation of a safe work environment across civil, drainage and utilities projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveying, setting‑out and safety inspections.
• Deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Assist in preparing incident reports and statistical data for management.
• Implement and monitor the company’s HSE policy, procedures and management systems.
• Maintain Health & Safety KPIs and support continuous improvement.
• Identify site hazards, develop risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Carry out H&S audits, address non‑conformances and support incident investigations.
• Ensure statutory records, site folders and compliance documentation are up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with the HSQE team and site management to enforce safety standards.

Required profile

• Full clean driver’s licence.
• Relevant 3rd‑level qualification in Health & Safety (desirable).
• Experience in civil, drainage or utilities projects.
• Confident, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong time‑management, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respect confidentiality.
