Key Account Manager – Sales

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to join our client’s sales team in Ireland. This hybrid, outbound sales position focuses on building and managing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and uncovering new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned customer portfolio through outbound sales activity and digital engagement.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while developing existing accounts.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
• Conduct structured sales calls, identify customer needs, and progress opportunities effectively.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, tenders, and acquisitions within the healthcare sector.
• Manage customer contracts, renewals, subscriptions, and service agreements.
• Provide customer insights and feedback to support marketing initiatives and business growth.

Required profile

• 3+ years of sales, account management, or healthcare experience (desirable but not essential).
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Adaptable, detail‑oriented and committed to continuous improvement and achieving targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One (advantageous).

What we offer

• Base salary of €35,000 – €38,000 per year (OTE €50,000).
