Lead Information Architecture Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Architect within JPMorgan Chase's Chief Administrative Office Technology, you will design and deliver high‑quality data architecture solutions for cloud‑based applications. You will act as a core technical contributor, shaping the target state of data products and guiding cross‑functional teams toward strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to propose data architecture approaches that meet current and future needs.
• Define and drive the target state data architecture for assigned products.
• Participate in data architecture governance bodies and evaluate new technology recommendations.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative data architecture solutions, delivering secure, production‑ready code.
• Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Facilitate vendor and internal evaluation sessions to assess data architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Lead data architecture communities of practice to promote modern technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in Data or Information Architecture.
• Hands‑on experience delivering information architecture, data modeling, and data governance solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of information architecture principles and at least one data‑modeling tool.
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery, and the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Practical cloud‑native experience and familiarity with AI/ML, mobile, or related technical domains.
• In‑depth understanding of financial services IT systems.
