Lead Operator/Operations Process Lead

About the role

R&D Partners is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Team Lead to drive performance and excellence across the production line. You will act as the technical expert for manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while meeting delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce safety and environmental policies throughout all manufacturing activities.
• Oversee production to guarantee product quality, proper storage, and compliance with cGMP and cGDP standards.
• Approve and implement production instructions, maintain accurate records, and ensure thorough documentation.
• Monitor the manufacturing environment for cleanliness and regulatory compliance, supporting HPRA and FDA inspections.
• Train and mentor team members on procedures, quality standards, and operational best practices.
• Identify and resolve safety, quality, equipment, or material issues promptly.
• Collaborate with support teams to introduce new products, equipment, and processes.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, 5S, and other efficiency programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an operator and in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical or medical‑device manufacturing plant.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to train, guide, and develop technical skills of team members.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
