Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at UNSW

About the role

The School of Information Systems & Technology Management at UNSW Business School is seeking two tenure‑track academics – a Lecturer (Level B) and a Senior Lecturer (Level C) – to join a top‑ranked research community in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Operations Management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in technical and analytics subjects.
• Conduct scholarly research with national and international impact.
• Engage with industry and professional bodies to enhance the School’s reputation.
• Provide academic leadership and contribute to curriculum development.
• Participate in departmental service and governance activities.

Required profile

• PhD (or expected completion by end‑2026) in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations Management or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching technical subjects such as cybersecurity, AI, databases, networking, or business analytics.
• Evidence of research productivity and potential for international recognition.
• Desirable experience with UX design and interdisciplinary collaboration.
