Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Innovation

About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join the International College of Pharmaceutical Innovation (ICPI) at RCSI Dublin and Soochow University, China. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching and leading research initiatives across pharmacy and biopharmaceutical disciplines, with a commitment of at least 12 weeks per academic year on each campus.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and assess undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences and related biological sciences.
- Secure external funding to support a research group, supervise Masters and PhD students, and publish in high‑impact journals.
- Develop new teaching materials, employ technology‑enhanced learning, and contribute to curriculum design.
- Foster collaborations with industry partners, promote commercialization of research outcomes, and participate in accreditation activities.
- Undertake overseas teaching assignments and engage with colleagues across RCSI international campuses.
- Participate in college committees, quality‑assurance processes, and professional development programmes.
Required profile
- Primary degree in pharmacy or a related scientific field (e.g., biotechnology, material science, immunology, genetics) and a PhD.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, management or professional development within healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong track record of research funding, supervision of postgraduate students, and peer‑reviewed publications.
- Passion for teaching with proven undergraduate teaching and assessment experience.
