Legal Consultant – Remote Contract

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Legal Consultant to support its AI research partners on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on reviewing legal, ESG, and grant‑related documents to ensure quality, compliance, and strategic impact.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess domain‑specific documents for accuracy, relevance, and quality.
• Provide structured feedback to improve document standards and overall impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance ESG strategy and grant‑writing processes.
• Analyze legal and policy documents to verify compliance and effectiveness.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant legal, ESG, or grant‑writing domain.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
