Legal Executive – Casualty (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Legal Executive to join our well‑established Casualty team in Dublin. The role will replace a departing team member and offers the chance to work in a close‑knit, high‑performing group handling a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and organised file management systems for efficient case handling.
• Attend court with instructed counsel and assist with matter progression on the day.
• Monitor case progress, identify key deadlines, motions and trial preparation requirements.
• Draft correspondence to clients, opposing solicitors and third parties.
• Prepare pleadings and other court documents for lodgement in the High Court and Commercial Court.
• Compile court booklets and trial bundles, and draft briefs for counsel.
• Support day‑to‑day case management and liaise directly with counsel.
• Handle client communication to ensure high‑standard service throughout each file.
• Manage Personal Injuries Resolution Board applications and Statement of Recoverable Benefits forms.
• Review discovery documentation received from opposing parties and clients.
• Organise medical appointments, engineer inspections and pre‑trial consultations.
• Contribute to billing narratives, cost tracking and overall matter management.
• Attend the office a minimum of three days per week.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in litigation, preferably within a casualty or personal injury environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Willingness to attend court and work on‑site at least three days a week.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality client service.
