Life400 Developer

About the role

New Ireland is looking for a Life400 Developer to design, build and support critical insurance applications. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to production support, and contributes to modernising legacy platforms for the bank’s wealth, insurance and enterprise banking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support Life400 applications across all development phases.
• Analyse complex business requirements and production incidents to devise practical solutions.
• Deliver code changes following established development, testing and release processes, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, project managers and fellow developers to deliver robust software.
• Support testing activities by defining test scenarios and validating new or enhanced processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related IT discipline.
• Proven experience working with Life400 and AS400 environments in a financial services or insurance context.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate technical concepts to business partners.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver who can work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
