Locum Medicine Oncology (NCHD) - Ireland

About the role

Global Medics is recruiting NCHD doctors for locum positions in medicine oncology across Ireland, joining consultant-led medical teams in HSE hospitals. The work is described as flexible, fast-paced and supportive, with the chance to gain experience in several different hospital settings. Rates are quoted at €49-€71.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a variety of clinical settings.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Take part in ward rounds, case discussions and clinical audits.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required profile

• Registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• Eligible to work in Ireland (Irish/UK/EU passport or Stamp 4 Visa, Stamp 1G Visa).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy clinical environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and high standards of patient care.
