Maintenance Technician – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical team in Dublin. You will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facility systems while supporting a safe and productive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when required.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory and assist with stock‑control activities.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical Maintenance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing, industrial, pharmaceutical, logistics or facilities environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and experience with fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Good computer skills and experience using a CMMS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Desirable: trade certification or degree, experience in a regulated environment, knowledge of PLC systems and automation equipment.
