Maintenance Technician – Permanent

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dundalk, County Louth. This permanent, day‑shift position (12‑hour shifts, Monday‑Wednesday) supports the production of life‑changing therapies for biopharma customers. The role focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform machine change‑overs, address stoppages and breakdowns promptly to meet production targets.
• Carry out planned routine maintenance and adhere to defined maintenance schedules.
• Conduct expert‑level fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Program PLCs and participate in technically involved projects to improve or create new processes.
• Design, develop and implement mechanical systems and equipment improvements.
• Create and manage MOCs through the QMS and conduct design of experiments.
• Lead A3 problem‑solving activities and root‑cause analysis for major issues.
• Plan and execute engineering improvement projects, including validation.
• Maintain clean, tidy and secure maintenance areas and equipment storage.
• Document all maintenance activities, tooling logs, setting sheets and PPM records accurately.
